L&Q appoint Hydrock's London team to develop standard unit deliverables

23rd Mar 2018

L&Q, one of the UK’s leading housing associations and developers, has appointed Hydrock’s London-based Building Performance Engineering team to develop standard housing unit deliverables.

Using BIM, our team is developing these deliverables for standard house-types to inform L&Q’s approach to the construction of timber-framed houses to help with efficiencies in construction programmes. Our work encompasses MEP, acoustics and fire engineering services.

Following our development of the standard unit deliverables, Hydrock will help L&Q roll this approach out across three proposed residential schemes, where our role will also extend to utilities, air quality, an external lighting statement and daylight and sunlight assessments.
